Rotary Club of Murphy's 4th Annual Franklin Barnett Memorial Poker Run properly themed and titled "Ride for the Memories".

Ride and enjoy the changing of the Autumn Fall leaves and all the beauty that will surround you. The Poker Run will both begin and end at Snowbird Mountains Brewery in Andrews starting at 11:00am (Cars) and 11:30am (Cycles). There will be post ride Live Music, Food, Drinks and Entertainment.

The Poker Run (as it does every year) benefits to raise awareness and funds for CART | Coins for Alzheimer's Research Trust. The CART Fund is a non-profit grassroots organization that provides "seed" money for cutting edge, high impact research grants to help find a treatment or cure for Alzheimer's Disease. Hence our "RIDE FOR THE MEMORIES" theme for the Poker Run.

If not registered prior to event (the preferred method), registration "day of" will start at 9:00am at the Rotary of Murphy Registration Table at Snowbirds Mountains Brewery.

Poker Run will start off promptly as follows:
Car Riders will leave at 11:00am (sharp)
Motorcycles Kickstands up at 11:30am (sharp)

Food & Drinks:

Frankie's Dawg House & Honey Bug BBQ food trucks will be at the Event, and of course drinks available from Snowbird Brewery (no riders permitted to partake in alcoholic beverages prior to Poker Run).

Great Entertainment:

Murphy Mayor and fellow Rotarian, the honorable Tim Radford will be the day's emcee.

Post the Poker Run Ride will have FREE live musical entertainment from Eonian Record and national recording artist (the voice of Heartless, Lefty and Julliet) Kenny McGee, as well as top 4 finishers from the 1st Andrews Idol both Emily Franklin and Kevin McCall.

The Poker Run Route:

Leave Snowbirds Brewery to Highlands by way of Wayah Bald. There are four waterfalls on 64.

Turn on 106, Dillard Rd. Come out on 441. There will be a rest stop outside of Franklin.

Turn on 64 West and head back the Snowbirds Brewery.

148 miles and approximately 3-1/2 hours ride.
