2nd Annual Thirsty Cat Beer, Wine and Music Festival

Join us for Catamount’s biggest event of the summer season! The 2nd annual Thirsty Cat Beer, Wine and Music Festival brings together the best of the Berkshires! With a large selection of draft beers and ciders, a variety of wines, 5 great bands over two days, craft vendors and tasty food options - there’s plenty to keep you busy for a few hours or for the whole event! The event is family-friendly, with a kid’s lemonade tasting, scenic chairlift rides, zip tours and the aerial adventure park all open during the event. While there’s no admission to attend the festival.

Come sample 50+ varieties of craft beer and ciders from the best local and regional breweries — PLUS over a dozen varieties of wine! We will also have a kids craft lemonade tasting tent - the perfect option for kids and those designated drivers looking to enjoy the festival and take home a souvenir from the event! We have an impressive lineup of 5 bands to keep the fun going throughout the weekend!

Lineup:

11am-1:30pm: Frank Viele & The Fallout
Frank Viele constructs his sound beneath an acoustic funk ceiling with windows of alternative pop, folk and soul. A musical carpenter in the independent rock genre, this singer/songwriter's approach mixes a dry wit with a soulful touch. A storytelling angle finishes out the floors of this building. Frank's sound construction is cemented together by a solid blues foundation and his stylistically aware approach is evident in his singing and guitar playing. Working off the brick and mortar of influences ranging from Dave Matthews to Otis Redding and Ray Lamontagne to Johnny Lang, Frank delivers an authenticity showcasing a familiarity to the inspirations that came before him. Frank Viele is Acoustic funk, electrified with a shot of Pop, Rock and Soul. Add Rhythm and Blues for a Chaser.

2pm-4:30pm: Blanket Statement

Blanket Statement is more than just another cover band – it’s a 5 piece powerhouse of musicians specializing in funky grooves and soulful singalongs that will be sure to have you up on your feet. From Stevie Wonder to Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty to Toto, and everything in between, Blanket Statement's shows, highlight the best of every decade from the 60’s to today. No matter what you like to jam to, Blanket Statement's got you covered!

5pm-8pm: The Englishtown Project

On September 3rd, 1977, The Grateful Dead headlined one of the largest and most musically successful concerts of all time at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. In addition to the Grateful Dead, who had just completed its legendary Spring/Summer 1977 tour featuring a batch of new material from Terrapin Station, the show also featured the Dead family’s New Riders of the Purple Sage and the good-time, southern rock of The Marshall Tucker Band. This tribute extravaganza will feature healthy “doses” of selections from each band’s sets that day along with other deep cuts from all three bands and more.

Scenic Chairlift Rides

Our Scenic Chairlift will be running throughout both days of the event. Ride the Glade Triple up to the summit to take in the beautiful views of the surrounding areas, including the Berkshires and Hudson Valley. Purchase your scenic chairlift ride online in advance. Tickets will be available on-site, subject to availability.

Zip Tour and Aerial Adventure Park

Our Zip Tour and Aerial Park will operate throughout the festival. Take a break from the festival activities and try your hand at one of our 9 aerial adventure courses or ride the longest zipline in the country! These activities have strict capacity limitations so advance reservations are highly suggested, as we anticipate these activities to sell out in advance for the festival dates.
