Welcome to the: 2nd Annual Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk & Kids 1 Mile Fun Run.

The Rowley Volunteer Fire Protection Association (RVFPA) is hosting its "2nd Annual Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk & Kids 1 Mile Fun Run". This event helps to raise funds for our Rowley Veterans. Veterans account for 6% of the Rowley population. We have 277 Male Veterans and 20 Female Veterans for a total of 297 Veterans living here in the Town of Rowley. Veterans are facing multiple challenges throughout their careers. Their enhanced training and advanced technologies have given them the ability to provide extreme medical care in the field which has allowed many active military members to be brought home. Due to some extensive injuries and long term health effects they will need more services in the future to enable their quality of life. The RVFPA hopes to raise enough funds to be able to assist our 297 Veterans here in the Town of Rowley.

Festivities will begin around 09:00a.m. and conclude around 1:00p.m. The 5K Run/Walk starts at 10:00a.m. followed immediately by the Kids 1 Mile Fun Run at 11:00a.m. Following the race, we will have foods trucks for purchasing foods and beverages. Photo Booth Set-Up to create some race day memories! Come on down and enjoy the day, whether you are going to participate in one of the races or cheer on other community members, it will be an amazing time!
