The Bowie International Festival is back!  

After a couple of years of being combined with another event, the festival returns to Allen Pond Park as a standalone event on Saturday, September 14, 2024.

World cultures and nations will be celebrated throughout the festival in a variety of ways, including dance and musical performances from India, the Caribbean, Native American heritage, Europe and the Middle East. They’ll also be unique food vendors, and multicultural activities for the kids.

11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Thapasya School of Dance
12 p.m. - 12:15 p.m.: Mayor's Welcome & Announcements
12:15 p.m. - 1 p.m.: Friete African Drumming & Dance
1:10 p.m. - 1:20 p.m.: Fraternidad Cultural Pachamama
1:25 p.m. - 1:55 p.m.: Mariachi de los Campadres
2 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.: Five Feathers Indigenous American Dance & Drumming
2:45 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.: Four Seasons Dance
4 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Lady DaFlame & Friends Reggae
