Concordia Lutheran Ministries will hold its Annual Oktoberfest. The event is open to the community and admission is free.

The Mikey Dee Polka Band will perform from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Pyrotecnico will launch fireworks into the sky starting at 7:45 p.m. The event will also host tours of the Concordia Haven Retirement Apartments, a blood pressure/flu shot clinic hosted by Concordia Visiting Nurses, a bake sale and more.

Delicious food from our German-themed menu will be available for purchase, including Bavarian pork roast, kielbasa with sauerkraut, bratwurst, sauerbraten, Bavarian pretzels, apple cider and MUCH more (including Sam Adams Oktoberfest and commemorative Concordia Oktoberfest mugs). Visitors may purchase food and drink with cash or check.

Children 12 and under will receive free food vouchers, and kids of all ages can enjoy free activities: pumpkin decorating, crafts, hayride, balloon art, pony rides, petting zoo, bounce house and more.

Also, attendees can purchase tickets for an opportunity to win a hand-sewn, king-sized quilt that was created by Concordia residents. All proceeds from the quilt raffle will go to Concordia's Good Samaritan Endowment Fund, which underwrites confidential charitable care for residents and patients who have limited or exhausted financial means. Free parking and shuttle service will be available. Guests are encouraged to arrive well before the 7:45 p.m. fireworks display. Please park in the designated areas to reduce traffic and safety concerns.
