RACE AND COURSE DETAILS
The Kids Fun Run starts at 7:15 a.m. The 10K run starts at 8:00 a.m. The 5K run/hike starts at 8:10 a.m.
A mandatory pre-race meeting will take place at the start line at 7:45 a.m. for both the 10K run and 5K run/hike.
The 5K run/hike will consist of one loop of the course, and the 10K will be 2 loops.
The course is beautiful but challenging. The trails were created with hikers and group tours in mind, so they are wide and well maintained. The outer most reaches of the trail along the Magnolia Loop is more technical, with roots and other hazards, but most of the course consists of beginner level trails. While there are a handful of hills, the elevation changes are limited.
The Kids Fun Run is approximately .25 mile.
AID STATIONS
There will be one water station on the course and one post-race refreshment table at the finish line.
The on-course water station will be at the junction of the Mesic Trail and Magnolia Loop, approximately 1.5 miles into the course. 5k runners will pass the water station twice and 10k runners will pass it four times.
The finish line post-race refreshment table will have a variety of options.
