EPIC Think and Drink at Desert Door Distillery

Sunday, Sep 22, 2024 at 2:00pm

Join EPIC (Emerging Professionals in Conservation) for a fun-filled Hill Country happy hour at Desert Door Distillery in Driftwood, Texas!

While we sip some delicious sotol, we'll learn from Wild Spirit Wild Places CEO, Karen Looby, about Desert Door's commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation through their nonprofit, which was established to protect these dwindling ranch lands and wild lands of Texas!

In addition, we'll be joined by Abianne Falla, founder of CatSpring Yaupon, a tasty, natural, and sustainable alternative to tea & coffee. Learn about the collaboration between Desert Door and CatSpring and sample some delicious Yaupon tea.

Your ticket includes one free drink at Desert Door. Desert Door offers a variety of cocktails made with wild-harvested sotol from West Texas. Imagine if tequila had a smoother, more sustainable, flavorful cousin - that's Desert Door! Food for purchase at their Lo Salvaje food truck.
