Family Concerts are a perfect introduction to classical music for children and a delightful journey for adults. Each year, the Bozeman Symphony offers a free concert for the community, and both performances generally sell out, serving more than 2,000 people. Family Concerts are designed to create lifelong music lovers and inspire concertgoers of all ages to pick up an instrument.
The 2024 performances of Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf on January 20 featured narration by acclaimed actor Glenn Close and Montana Shakespeare in the Parks Executive Artistic Director Kevin Asselin, as well as an instrument petting zoo where children could see, touch, hear, and play symphony orchestra instruments.
