Considered by many to be Oscar-winner Vincente Minnelli’s (Gigi, Meet Me in St. Louis) finest musical, The Band Wagon stars Fred Astaire as an aging star whose Broadway comeback is hijacked by his pretentious producer and lithe ballerina co-star (Cyd Charisse).  But when the show bombs in out-of-town tryouts, the stars decide to work together to produce a hit. Featuring classic songs, including "Dancing in the Dark," and “Girl Hunt”, The Band Wagon was selected by the American Film Institute as one of the 400 best American films of all time.
