The second Saturday in November each year, Georgetown Colorado celebrates one of the biggest and oldest bighorn sheep herds in the state of Colorado. Georgetown honors this treasured animal and helps visitors learn about the habits and nature of these home-grown, high altitude rock climbers of the Rockies.
