The Illinois Lottery is turning 50 this month and to mark five decades of Illinoisans playing, winning and giving back to the state, it’s hosting a groovy celebration in Chicago’s Pioneer Court on July 18. The Illinois Lottery will throw it back to 1974 with a spectacular 35-foot giant disco ball in a disco-themed, fun-filled 50th anniversary extravaganza!

The event will also feature a live DJ, interactive photo booth and the Illinois Lottery Draw Ball Machine – giving participants a chance to draw a number and win cash prizes of $500, $150 or $50 as well as Instant Tickets and other fun prizes. Over $10,000 in cash and prizes will be up for grabs.  All participants in the Draw Ball Machine must be 18 years of age or older.
