The Rotary Club of Jacksonville proudly announces its annual Oktoberfest celebration

The event will kick off with a traditional Wilkommen (welcome) ceremony and Tapping of the Kegs.

The rest of the day will be jam-packed with entertainment. Enjoy live music, games, activities and contests that will occur throughout the day. Also, look for a bags tournament, a keg toss contest, stein endurance (AKA mug-holding) contest, dachshund dash, and pet parade.

Local brewers will offer tastings of home brew beer. A variety of German beers and tasty wines will be available by the glass (or stein). The traditional German meal of brats, “secret recipe” sauerkraut and potatoes will be served, along with other traditional German fare.
