This November, the LDV Winery Tasting Room is hosting a wide array of activities and events designed to get guests in the holiday spirit! Guests are invited to pop into the Tasting Room for a “sip stop” during a holiday shopping day, add one (or all!) of these events to their calendar or schedule a guided tasting experience with the LDV wine experts to kick start the spirited season!

November events include:

Cooking with Wine

Saturday, Nov. 2 | 10:30 a.m.-noon

Enjoy a glass of LDV wine and nibbles while gaining tips on how to enhance any meal by cooking with wine! This event is free for LDV Wine Club members and $20, plus tax and gratuity for non-members.

Wine Wednesday Paint & Sip

Wednesday, Nov. 13 | 6-8 p.m.

Led by the experts at Paint the Party Mobile Art Studio, this month’s event features creating art using melted wine bottles. Admission includes materials and tutorial. Call 480-664-4822 for more details.

Library Wine Tasting and Nibbles

Sunday, Nov. 17 | 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The LDV co-owners are opening up the LDV cellar for tastings of older vintage wines. Guests are invited to taste how these wines are aging and join the discussion as LDV winemaker Curt Dunham guides them through the tasting experience. Wines sampled will be available for purchase. This event is free for LDV Wine Club Members and $20, plus tax and gratuity for non-members.

Mixed Media Collage Making

Monday, Nov. 18 | 6-8 p.m.

LDV Winery hosts a mixed media collage class centered around gratitude and thankfulness led by award-winning designer Julie Wolf. Supplies, creative guidance and one glass of LDV wine are included; additional wine will be available for purchase at happy hour prices. Cost is $50, plus tax and $25% gratuity.

Pie and Wine Tasting

Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24 | All day

In honor of fall’s favorite sweet treat – pie — guests can enjoy a scrumptious pie and wine pairing special featuring choice of a slice of apple pie or a slice of pumpkin pie paired with a glass of LDV red or white wine. The cost for this pie pairing is $15, plus tax and gratuity. 

Charcuterie Making Course

Tuesday, Nov. 26 | 6-7:30 p.m.

During this casual and interactive class led by the She Shed Chef Liza Noriega, guests will learn to make their own charcuterie board to enjoy with a glass of their favorite LDV wine or to take home. The cost of this class is $60, plus tax and 25% gratuity.
