The Paper Chase 5K, Presented by the EZBO Foundation, raises funds to support teachers and children with free supplies through Free 2 Teach. Free 2 Teach invests in public school teachers so that they can equip and inspire every child in their classroom. The race brings together teachers, administrators, students and community members all with the aim of supporting education in our county. Come out and join us on February 22, 2025 in downtown Huntsville. We are excited to come together as a community and support teachers and students! The school with the most runners (family, supporters, staff, friends etc) will win $1,500 for their school library and/or technology needs! The school in second place will earn $500 and third place school, $250. Everyone is a winner however, because every time a teacher shops with us, they leave with an average $400 in their carts! The course winds through beautiful downtown Huntsville and is a partial loop certified with USATF (code: AL18003JE). Runners of all levels are invited as are walkers. This is a great way to run with your family and friends in a casual and fun environment. Due to insurance restrictions, strollers are not permitted on the course.
