Valley 4th RUN
The Valley 4th RUN is home to the Slip ‘n Slide Finish Line and the only chip timed race in the Shenandoah Valley that lets you pick your distance (1.5 mile, 5K, or 10K). Plus, it’s a great opportunity to run/walk/roll through the streets of downtown Harrisonburg on the greatest holiday of the year. Waiting for you at the finish line is an optional 40 ft. inflatable slip ‘n slide. Perfect for cool-down mode.
The Valley 4th RUN is built for YOU! We believe anyone can make strides towards a healthy lifestyle. Whether you’re an avid runner/walker/roller or a first-timer, you are welcome. We encourage you to participate at one distance this year and strive for a longer distance next year.
With the option to run/walk/roll a 1.5 miler, 5K, or 10K, there’s something for everyone. Wheelchair racers and strollers are welcomed and encouraged.
