The Harwinton American Legion Post 137 will conduct a Veterans Day ceremony at the town's new veterans war memorial located on the town green at the intersection of South Rd, North Rd and Rte. 4. The post will be honoring the Harwinton veterans that have passed away over the past year. Refreshments courtesy of our local Dunkin' Donuts will be available following the ceremony. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the Harwinton Vol. Fire Dept. firehouse on Rte.4 (Burlington Rd.). Point of contact: Gary Schaff 860-485-1166.
