Comedy Fest Day 1

7:00PM

Buena Vista Winery
In the heart of Sonoma
Before there were vineyards in every valley north of San Francisco, before Napa and Sonoma were household names before there was a California wine world at all, there was Buena Vista. Founded in 1857, and spanning from Sonoma and into Napa, Buena Vista is California’s first premium winery, and its history is as colorful as it is proud. Today, the legend has been re-born under the vision of Jean-Charles Boisset.

Meet Your Headliner
Linda Schwartz
Linda Schwartz is a San Diego-based Lao-American stand-up comic, writer, podcast host, and content creator. Her fish-out-of-water upbringing in the South as a foster kid, along with her experiences as a self-directed, self-helped, figure-it-out-as-she-goes lifestyle, has led to a unique confluence of life encounters that she channels into a vulnerable yet relatable point of view. She has performed all over the country in many "world-famous" clubs, such as The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and Stand Up NY. She’s been a featured comedian at the NY Comedy Festival, the West End Comedy Festival (in ATL), and the Burbank Comedy Festival. Her podcast, She Shed Comedy, was chosen as a "Podcast We Love" on WhoHaHa, a website that spotlights and supports women in comedy.

Featuring Candy Shaw
Candy Shaw (née Churilla) began her comedy career studying improv with Chapel Hill NC’s Transactors Improv Company while also performing in scripted projects. After producing and starring in her play Sex, Drugs, and Dinner,  she moved to the Bay Area.
Candy is a popular Bay Area comedian who appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing, and took 3rd Place in California's Funniest Female Contest.  Every year, Candy is a favorite at San Francisco Comedy Day and is a founding member of The Cougar Comedy Collective.
She has opened for Mark Curry, Will Durst, Bobcat Goldthwait, Rob Schneider and Tom Segura.
