From: Stormy Weather Arts FestivalFor 36 years, the Stormy Weather Arts Festival on the first weekend in November has been one of Cannon Beach's most popular events. You can immerse yourself in the creative culture that has long been a part of this community recognized as one of the 100 best art towns in America. The weekend offers musical performances and gallery events with the opportunity to meet renowned artists, see their latest works, or watch them demonstrate their techniques.
Enjoy a variety of gallery receptions, artist demonstrations, and paint classes, and catch free live musical performances with regional musicians at outdoor venues throughout the town. Cannon Beach is home to more than a dozen art galleries. Many of their most successful national and regional artists and prominent local artists will be showcased during the festival.

It's the Stormy Weather Happy Howlidays Mini, Mini Holiday Dog Portrait Photo Session Fundraiser for the Cannon Beach Chamber. For Dogs and their Human Family Members!
These are indoor sessions at the Cannon Beach Chamber. Short, fun, professional Holiday Photos by professional Dog Portrait photographer, Cynthia Wolf. A Holiday Beach Backdrop is perfect for a Dog family photo. Or choose from the selection of Festive Props for Dogs and People or bring your own!

2:00 PM to 5:30 PM: Woodblock Printing Iconic Haystack Rock
Join local print block artist Karina Andrews in a very special Stormy Weather Arts Festival workshop!
In this hands-on workshop, participants will draw, carve, paint, and print their very own block print piece. Guided step-by-step, you'll be immersed in the details of this art form from carving your own block to the technique of mixing ink and color-laying for the finished print. Each participant will carve their own block and have 1-2 final pieces printed to take home at the end of the workshop.
Participants will be creating their own one-of-a-kind print of Haystack Rock.
The 3-and-a-half hour hands-on workshop is $99 with a $15 materials fee to include inks, tools, and customizable woodblock for each participant.
Karina Andrews is featured all around Cannon Beach and Clatsop County including having artwork at the Stephanie Inn. Karina's studio is located in Astoria where she hand-carves, cuts, prints, and creates all of her work.

After an afternoon of artist receptions, exceptional art displays, and workshops, the celebration of art continues! Join us in Downtown Cannon Beach as the Beatniks! rock the Coaster Theatre Playhouse in their artistic element. From all varieties of Classic Rock, the Beatniks will be playing tunes everyone will want to move to! See highlights of their artist bio below:
"Since their explosive debut in the early 90s', the Beatniks have been pleasing audiences ranging in age from eight to eighty with their signature energy, classic sound and vigorous stage presence. With over 5,000 performances since their inception, they have headlined shows that have drawn crowds of 35,000 people and have proven to be one of the largest drawing bands, consistently selling out the venues they play.
