From: Christmas Tree Festival50th Annual Christmas Tree Festival
The Allen County Museum's 50th Annual Christmas Tree Festival is Wednesday November 30, 2022 thru Sunday December 4, 2022 from 10 AM to 5 PM. with special hours on Friday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday 12 to 5 PM.
Activities in the Museum are as follows:
Upper Level:
- Gifts from the Earth (Fri.-Sun.)
- Children's Art Exhibit (Courtesy of Lima Elementary Schools)
- Bakery and Confectionery (Fri.-Sun.)
- Restrooms
- Information Desk
- Decorated Trees and Displays
- Fingerprint Ornaments (Fri.-Sun.)
- Holiday Boutique
- Wood Carving Demonstrations (Fri.-Sun.)
- Rug Hooking Demonstrations (Fri.-Sun.)
- Wreath photographs or photo with Santa (Changing Gallery, Fri.-Sun.)
Lower Level:
- Decorated Trees and Displays
- Evergreen the Talking Tree
- Little Children's Shoppe (Fri.-Sun.)
- Polar Express Reading (near the Shay, Fri. and Sun.)
Outside Activities are as follows:
MacDonell House:
The MacDonell House volunteers will present a Victorian Christmas throughout the home, with beautiful trees, docrations, and seasonal music. Admission is free throughout the festival. Donations are always welcome!
Log House:
Engage with hearthside cooking by docent Mark Mohr and other reenactors along with DAR and SAR volunteers.
