Since 1972, The Town Of Ridgeland, Sc Has Celebrated Its Connection With The Gopher Tortoise Each Year In October At The Gopher Hill Festival.  The Festival Offers Family Fun And Entertainment Including A Children's Parade, Grand Parade, Arts, Crafts, Kiddie Rides, Games, Free Outdoor Concerts With A Variety Of Entertainers And The Ever Popular Turtle Race.

Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness.

The Gopher Hill Festival Children's Parade Line Up Starts At 5:00pm At The Farmer's Market On Main Street And The Parade Begins At 6:00pm. The Children's Parade Marches From Farmer's Market On Main To The Gazebo On Main.

Music And Entertainment On The Main Stage Throughout The Whole Festival Karate Exhibitions, Dance Companies, Local Talent And Headliner Musical Groups.

8:00 Pm - East Coast Party Band

The East Coast Party Band has become one of the most popular dance bands in the Southeast. South Carolina dancers (Shaggers) enjoy the consistent tempo the band is known for, which all experienced shaggers appreciate. The Party Band is best described as an "old-fashioned" soul band covering classics by the likes of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations and The Four Tops.

The Parade Line Up Will Begin At 8:30am Behind Region's Bank.  The Parade Marches Up Logan Street,  Across Woodlawn Street And Down Jacob Smart Blvd And End At  E. Smith Street.

Gopher Hill 5k Run/Walk

Join Us For The Gopher Hill 5k Fun Run, A Highlight Of The Gopher Hill Festival! Lace Up Your Running Shoes And Be Part Of This Exhilarating Event.
The Race Begins At Ridgeland Baptist Church, 1448 Grays Hwy, Ridgeland, Sc.  Check-In Starts At 7:30 Am And Race Begins At 8:00am.

We'll Host An Awards Ceremony With Divisions For Males And Females, Spanning Various Age Groups From 10 And Under To 70 And Over. So, Come Make Memories With Us At The Gopher Hill 5k Fun Run During The Gopher Hill Festival!
