7th Annual Shrimpfest "Rollin on the River"

This year we are "Rollin on the River". Gather your friends and family to join The Kiwanis Club of Lynchburg as they host the 7th Annual Shrimpfest! Your ticket to this ALL-You-Can-Eat event features fresh caught shrimp, slaw, chips, non-alcoholic beverages and a special cookie. Meal times 5-7pm). Beer will be available for sale (in addition to your ticket to the event) for those 21 and older with valid ID.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to relax on the grounds of Riverfront Park while enjoying entertainment and live music from Quintana Jazz and The Steve Freeman Band (Favorite Oldies).

This event is Rain or Shine with proceeds going to support educational programs of Kiwanis such as Terrific Kids, Key Club, and CKI; and local community projects including construction of Centennial Playground, an accessible playground being built in Riverfront Park.

Your ticket purchase not only guarantees a night of fun and good food, but helps the Lynchburg club pursue the Kiwanis mission of improving the world one child and one community at a time.

Tickets are $40 in advance (online till 8/18) and $45 at the gate (if supplies last!). Tickets can also be picked up at Givens bookstore on Lakeside Drive. Youth ages 6 -11 are $15 each in advance and $20 at the gate. Kids 5 and under are FREE!
