Main Event
The Saturday main event is held at Historic Camden Revolutionary War Park located at 222 Broad Street in Camden, South Carolina.
Experience live Celtic music on three stages, featuring headliner Syr, a Celtic folk rock band from Columbia, SC. Enjoy other international artists from Ireland and Canada, Irish dancing, bagpipes and drums.
Kids will have a blast in the two-acre Kids Zone with inflatables, face painting, and the craft tent. Over 100 vendors will meet your retail therapy needs. Adults and children alike will enjoy the majestic Irish Gypsy Vanner horses and the Irish Wolfhounds' "Kiss Me I'm Irish" booth.
Indulge in delicious festival treats from more than 40 vendors in the food truck arena. Wet your whistle at the Irish whiskey tasting tent or with a variety of Irish brews or green beer. Enjoy the Irish Pub tent serving up hot shepherd's pie and live pub music.

LUCKY LEPRECHAUN 5K
Runners and walkers will have the "Luck of the Irish" on this great USA Track and Field Certified course that
starts and finishes at the Town Green in downtown Camden, SC.
Registration includes a quality race shirt and GREEN beer at the finish for leprechauns age 21 or over.
Awards will be given to the top 3 Male/Female Winners, the top 3 Male/Female Masters Winners, and Age Group
Winners (every five years, starting with age 5).
Be sure to dress for the occasion! The top 3 best dressed Leprechauns will receive a special award!

In March 2018, Camden proudly joined the esteemed South Carolina cities of Charleston, Greenville, Clover, and Columbia in hosting a NASGA-certified Highland Games. NASGA, the North American Scottish Games Athletics, established in 1976, is fervently dedicated to promoting and enhancing the understanding of Scottish Heavy Events competitions across North America. The 2024 games, a highlight of the 8th Annual Irish Fest Camden, are set to unfold on Saturday, March 2nd, beginning at 9:00 am (gates open to the public at 9:30 am) at the historically rich and visually stunning grounds of Historic Camden Revolutionary War Park. This venue is renowned for being one of the most historical and beautiful on the Highland Games circuit and serves as a splendid opener for the Carolinas Season. Registration for Open and Masters categories for both Men and Women opens on January 9, 2024, with a registration fee of $30. The number of participants is limited, so early registration is recommended.
Each participant will receive lunch and a t-shirt. The events will feature a range of traditional challenges, including Putting the Stone 20#, 56# Weight Throw, 28# Weight Throw, 22# Hammer Throw, Caber Toss, 20# Sheaf Toss, and 56# Weight Toss. *Time permitting, the Braemar Stone and Light Hammer will also be included. Prizes will be awarded for each group.
Miss Irish Fest Camden Pageant: A Celebration of Irish Charm and Elegance
“May your heart be light and happy, may your smile be big and wide, and may your pockets always have a coin or two inside!”
Do you possess the luck of the Irish? If so, we invite you to participate in our first Miss Irish Fest Camden Pageant. This event is a celebration of Irish culture and charm, and it’s open to participants of all ages!
Event Details
The pageant will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the beautiful Arts Center of Kershaw County. The competition includes categories such as Beauty, Shamrock Wear, and Photogenic . We have special divisions “Ginger & Freckles” and “Luck O’ The Irish”. The latter will honor our top contributor of items for New Day Transitional Housing & Homeless Services.
Winners will be graced with beautiful rhinestone sashes and crowns and will have the honor of appearing at the annual Irish Fest Festival on March 2, 2024.
