INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Democratic Party is excited to announce today that Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and U.S. Rep. Nikema Williams will serve as keynote speakers for the party’s annual Hoosier Hospitality Dinner on Friday, July 12, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. They’ll join other Hoosier Democratic speakers including Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett.

Since taking office in 2019, Governor Pritzker has put Illinois back on the right track, making historic investments in infrastructure, expanding access to healthcare, and raising the minimum wage. He knows all women should be able to access abortion and the reproductive healthcare they need without government interference.

U.S. Rep. Nikema Williams has served Georgia’s Fifth District in Congress since 2021 and is the former Chair of the Georgia Democratic Party. She has been a steadfast advocate and champion for working families throughout her time in Congress, advocating for the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, aggressive action to tackle climate change, and improved access to healthcare for all communities.
