Government and Politics

To talk about housing and economic policy…? We’ll believe it when we see it.

ARIZONA – After telling voters on the debate stage that he has “concepts” of a plan, Donald Trump is coming to Tucson to talk about housing and lowering costs for Arizonans. Trump’s Project 2025, an actual plan that he’s endorsed, would raise taxes on Arizonans’ middle-class families by an average of $5,900 while giving the top 0.1 percent an average of $2 million in giveaways.

“Donald Trump giving a concrete plan to lower costs for working-class Arizonans? We’ll believe it when we see it,” said Chairwoman of the Arizona Democratic Party, Yolanda Bejarano. “Donald Trump’s Project 2025 would make it harder for Arizonans to buy a home, would raise their taxes by an average of $5,900, and give more handouts to the billionaire class. This November, Arizonans will vote for Democrats up and down the ballot that have been focused on lower costs and bringing in good-paying jobs to Arizona.”
