In the Roaring Fork Valley this Summer with teens and looking for a cool experience? Aspen Film's documentary filmmaking camp, ROC DOC takes place July 24 - August 4 at the Art Base in Basalt.

It's a two-week (bi-lingual English/Spanish) camp that runs from 9 AM - 3 PM daily over week days. Participants learn to use professional film equipment, and the instructors are from the Colorado Film School.

We have TWO FULL SCHOLARSHIPS available on a first-come basis, so if you are interested, or know anyone who may benefit, please help spread the word.

And to close out Summer of Cinema for July, Aspen Film is once again collaborating with the USC Shoah Foundation to present another important and timely screening and conversation of the film REMEMBER THIS, directed by Derek Goldman and Jeff Hutchens, and starring award-winning actor David Strathairn.

This powerful film will be followed by a topical Q+A with the filmmakers and other insightful guests including the Finci-Viterbi ED of the USC Shoah Foundation and a Political Counsellor on Jewish Affairs from the Polish Embassy in Washington, DC.
