Schools and Libraries
February 17, 2023
From: Bay Village City School DistrictBuckeye Chuck and Punxatawney Phil may have seen their shadows, but spring is in the air at Bay Village Schools. Our Strategic Vision Advisory Group has been meeting to further our strategic plan work; Bay High School was recently recognized for gender gap-closing in AP Computer Science; the Bay High School Centennial was chosen as Project of the Year by Community Council; Bay High and Bay Middle school students and faculty represented the district at the recent Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) conference; and we welcomed our Class of 2036 Kindergarten families. Wow!
I ask you to do me a favor and stop by one of my upcoming Coffee Chats so I can have the opportunity to meet you in person, talk more about the district and answer your questions face to face. Our next Coffee Chat is this Friday, February 17 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Java Bay. And if this week isn’t good for you, we have two more coming up:
Friday, March 31, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Cuyahoga County Public Library- Bay Village, 27400 Wolf Road
Friday, May 5, 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Mojos, 600 Dover Center Road
Be Proud To Be Bay and I look forward to seeing you soon!
