Girls Who Code
What if we told you a Girls Who Code Club could help you learn code, make friends, learn about inspiring role models, and give you access to exclusive @GirlsWhoCode alumni benefits? A Girls Who Code Club (GWC) is a free program for girls and non-binary students that provides a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world.
The library is interested in starting a GWC Club for kids in grades 3-5 in October and we're trying to gauge interest! If you know a 3-5th grader who'd be interested, please fill out the following (very short) survey. We appreciate it!
You do NOT need to be a Berlin resident to participate! We'll learn to code by doing hands-on projects and self-guided coding tutorials. No coding experience is necessary! We'll also learn about inspiring female role models working in a variety of sectors (medicine, art, music, government, and more).
