Winter Reading Challenge

December 27th-January 21st

Preschool-Grades 5

Build your own snowman as you read for 20 minutes a day from Dec. 27th-Jan. 21st! Turn in your snowman reading log to the Children's Department from Jan. 21st-31st to pick up your prize! Reading logs will be available in the Children's Department and online beginning December 27th.

Wiggles & Giggles (Ages Birth - 23 Months)

Tuesdays, December 6 & 13 @ 10:30 AM

Wiggles & Giggles is a storytime for children ages birth - 23 months that focuses on developing pre-literacy skills with nursery rhymes, songs, bounces, and books! Bring a blanket to sit on if you wish. No registration is required.

Little Waddlers (Ages 2-3)

Wednesdays, December 7 & 14 @ 10:30 AM

This program is designed for 2-and 3-year-old children with a parent/caregiver. We will read stories, sing songs, and learn fingerplays to encourage a love of books and early language development. No registration is required.

Mother Goose on the Loose (Birth - 5)

Fridays, December 9 & 16 @ 10:30 AM

(Ages 0 -5) Join us for a program of rhymes, songs, fingerplays, and bubbles! Caregivers must be present. No registration is required.

Books & Bites: Nutmeg Book Club

Tuesday, December 6 from 6:30-7:30 PM

Grades 4-6

Registration is required

Join us in reading and discussing Katie the Catsitter by Colleen A.F. Venable this month. Register for your Nutmeg Kit and book for pick-up in the Children's Department. Snacks will be provided!
