Boyne City PirateFest celebrates the Michigan Lakes and all they have to offer.  PirateFest is a nonprofit organization committed to furthering education and protection of our natural resources, enjoying the bounty around us, and having fun doing so while engaging the community and visitors alike.

6:00pm - 10:00pm: Pirate Princess and Queen Pageant
This Here Be the Crownin’ of the Official Pirate fest Princess And Queen Who Will Reign over Treasure town And All of Lake Charrrlevoix.

August 9, 2024

6:00pm - 11:00pm: It Be an Entertainment Filled Evening under the Tent with "The Remedee."
Let There Be Drinks, Laughter, and Stories to Tell.
Mingle With Pirates, And All Shall Be Well.
Bring A Lawn Chair or Throw Down A Blanket.
6:00pm - 7:00pm:  Pirate Costume Contest at the Eagle's Club
7:00pm: The Invasion.
Decorate Yer Ship And Join The Fun.
Pirates Invade Treasure Town, USA By Way Of A Crazy Flotilla Led By Arrr Flagship, The 95' Schooner "Madeline" And The Little Traverse Bay Ferry. The Good Ship Madeline Will Be Docked At the City T-Dock, And the Ltb Ferry Will Do Tours throughout the Weekend from the Shopper's Dock.
Bear Witness Behind Boyne City’s Sunset Parrrk as the Pirates Disembark and  Start Their Search Fer the Treasure.

August 10 ,2024

10:00am: Piratefest Parade.
Parade Begins In Sobo, Travels Down Lake Street, And Ends At Veteran’s Park.
11:00am - 3:00pm: Cap'n Kid's Fair, Where The Kids Arrr The Cap'ns.  Old City Park.
Includes- "Bc Rocks" Treasure Hunt, Kid’s Crafts, Face Paintin’, Juggling And  Much More.
12:00pm - 6:00pm: There's A Pirate Rivarrr Raft Adventure With Pirates, Mermaids, And Water Battles.
12:00pm: Live Entertainment All Day In Sunset Parrrk With Bands Provided By Black Diamond Broadcasting, Cap'n Of The Airwaves.
12pm - After Dark: Non-Stop Street Shows In Sunset Park And Various Locations Around Town.  Sword Swallowing, Juggling, Acrobats, Animals, Escape Artists, And More.
7:00pm - 11:00pm: Live Music By Yankee Station
12:00pm - 9:00pm: Pirates, Buskers And Mermaids, Blimey.

1:00pm: Kids Pirate Costume Parade In Old City Park.   
See Our Junior Pirate Mateys In Their Finest, With The Kids Pirate Costume Contest To Follow.
3:00pm: The Battle Of The Boyne River.     
Townsfolk Be Gatherin’ In Old City Park To Lead A March To Drive The Pirates Out.
Soon, A Zany Re-Enactment Of The Famous "Battle Of The Boyne River" Ensues.
