Intergenerational Magic Show

With Bongo the Clown

Friday, April 14 at 1:00 p.m.

Come enjoy an afternoon of silly fun with Brookfield’s very own, John Mackiewicz, Bongo the Clown! It is Brookfield Public School spring break. What a better way to enjoy your time with your grandchildren (grades Pre-K through 12th grade) than to laugh and enjoy a magic show. Enjoy an afternoon dessert provided by Maplewood at Stony Hill in Bethel. Register on the enclosed form and let us know how many people will be joining you so we are prepared.

CPR for Seniors

Tuesday, April 18 at 10:30 a.m.

James Whiteside, Captain, Brookfield EMS, Paramedic NRP, EMSI has offered his time to guide our seniors through a CPR session adapted for an older adult. We all have seen in the media how important it is for everyone to have a bit of CPR under their belt! This session is limited to 14 participants. If we get a large registration response, we may hold another session. Please register.

National Volunteer Week

April 16-22

National Volunteer Week is a time to recognize people doing extraordinary things in their community through volunteer service. We recognize the power of volunteers who lend their time and talent to make a difference. Whether online, at the office, or the local food pantry; whether with a vote, a voice, or a wallet – doing good comes in many forms, and we recognize and celebrate them all.

Thank you to the many volunteers who contribute to Brookfield and to our greater community every day in so many ways – both great and small. You are truly role models for our younger generation.
