From: Cape May Museums, Arts, CultureNew Year, New Exhibit
We're ringing in 2023 with a brand new exhibit, the seasonal reopening of the Cape May Lighthouse, upcoming tours, and more.
Cape May might be best known for its summertime beaches—but there's fun to be had in every season!
The Carroll Gallery's Winter Exhibit
Throughout the year, the Carroll Gallery, located in the Carriage House on the grounds of the Physick Estate, is home to changing exhibits that bring Cape May history to life. From Jan. 16 to March 26, the Carroll Gallery is proud to display a new exhibit: "Throw Like a Girl: Women in Baseball." Presented by Cape May MAC in association with The Center for Community Arts, this exhibit explores the trailblazing women of America's favorite pastime. This exhibit is free to attend.
This winter season, join us on the weekends for a selection of favorite trolley tours, including: the Historic District Trolley Tour, Mansions by the Sea, Roots of Cape Island, and more. See the full calendar here.
The Cape May Lighthouse Reopens
Additionally, the Cape May Lighthouse will reopen for visitors on Jan. 14, and will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. Climb the 199 steps to take in a wintery panorama of the Delaware Bay.
