Chocolate Vendors galore! Wall to wall chocolate cakes and tortes to chocolate bars and ice cream, the event offers more than a sampling of everything chocolate. Join in the fun of the pudding eating contest! Chocolate door prizes given away.

Cocoa 5k Fun Run and Walk:

Come be a part of the Cocoa Fun Run / Walk!

Course: The New 5K Race Course is flat and begins and ends at the McGee Building – Carteret Community College

Time: The 5K run/walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. Meet in Lobby

Entry Fee: $35.00 per individual /$55 for family (2 adults and 2 kids under 18 years)

Entry includes 1 tee shirt per individual or 1 per family (to the first 100 registered runners)

Additional tee shirts are available $15 each

ALL participants receive a ticket to the Carolina Chocolate Festival

Post race snacks are provided!

$250 for First Place / $100 for Second Place $50 for Third Place in both categories! Plus a BONUS $500 for the most overall

points from either category!

Please compete in the category that best describes you:

Pro – Someone whose livelihood is derived partially or fully from baking – a pastry chef, baker/owner, even someone who bakes from home but sells their products privately or at a vendor location like a Farmer’s Market.

Amateur – Someone who bakes for personal consumption or for friends or family only.

You must submit two identical cakes!

One will be used for judging and sale to Chocolate Festival guests. The other will be auctioned off to raise funds for our charities.
