Chainsaw Carving and Art Forest Festival 2023!

Educational & recreational programs and events are an important aspect of River Bend's mission.

Take advantage of the many opportunities throughout the year to connect with nature at River Bend. Enjoy hands-on nature classes, special events, and presentations about the many facets of our environment.

Schedule Of Events:

9am-2pm:

Chainsaw Artists -Watch chainsaw artists at work – pick your favorites, as all carvings go to auction at 3pm
Art Fair – Nature focused handmade works of art for sale
Andis Chickadee Trail – Natural playscape and story trail in the forest
Beer hike  –  Enjoy unique beers at the campfire
Nature trivia trail – Encounter little known nature facts, photo opportunities, and family activities
Silent Auction
Food Truck
Canoe and kayak rental

10am-2pm: Kid's Climb

Tree climbing presented by Wisconsin Arborist Association

3:00pm – Chainsaw Art Auction – join in the bidding fun as all carvings go to auction. Bid on your favorites! 50% of all auction sales goes directly to River Bend Nature Center to support education and recreation programs. Cash, credit or check with proper ID.
