Chicago Youth Orchestra (CYO) located in Clarendon Hills, IL has three exciting events coming up: Youth Orchestra Auditions, Chamber Music Auditions, and the Concerto Competition. CYO provides opportunities for young musicians to showcase their skills and talents, and helps them to develop important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and confidence.

AUDITIONS Fall '23
- Youth Orchestra - 7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20
- Chamber Music - 7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20

CYO Youth Orchestra & Chamber Music Auditions are open to all orchestral instruments, ages 7-18 years old and will be holding Auditions via Video Submission. This is a great opportunity for young musicians to join a dynamic ensemble and perform a wide range of music, from classical to contemporary. The Youth Orchestra & Chamber Music Program provides a supportive and challenging environment where young musicians can grow and develop their musical skills.

* Instruments: All Strings, Winds, Brass, Percussion (including piano)
* Repertoire – One piece/movement – level appropriate (up to 5 min)
* Minimum of two years of instruction/playing experience on their instrument

Concerto Competition - Deadline – DECEMBER 18, 2023

The CYO Concerto Competition is open to all CYO students - December 18th. This competition provides an opportunity for young musicians to showcase their solo performance skills and compete for the chance to perform with the CYO Youth Orchestra. This is a great way for young musicians to challenge themselves and further develop their performance skills.
