Hello, Am Can!
Can you believe it? Summer is slipping away in the blink of an eye! It has been a great success thus far, and I couldn’t have done it without the amazing Parks and Recreation Team for making it an unforgettable time. Our team poured their heart and soul into making every offering awesome!

But, this does not mean that Summer is over quite yet. We’re ending the Summer with more memories that’ll last forever! Please join us for a splash-tastic annual Water Carnival on Saturday, August 5th from 1:00 PM- 5:00 PM. Join us at this year's last  Meet Me in the Street event on August 9th for the Northampton Park Playground Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 5 PM. This new playground will serve as the first universal, all-access play experience here in American Canyon. Soon after follows our S’mores and Meteor event, held on August 12th. 

Kick off the Story Walk with Napa County Regional Park and Open Space and American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation on Saturday, August 5th at 10 AM. The Story Walk will be held all month long at Wetlands Edge in both English and Spanish! Come out and enjoy the great outdoors while reading a book.

Although Summer will be over soon, the fun will remain! We’re committed to taking our programs and services in the Parks and Recreation Department to a new level. We wholeheartedly urge you to get up, get out, and play with us! Registration for Fall programs begin on Monday, August 7 for Residents; Non-Residents on Monday, August 21. Don’t miss out on everything we have in store for you, even after the Summer break is over. Let’s wrap up this Summer with an unforgettable adventure for you and your loved ones right here in American Canyon.
