CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi completed canvassing the results of the December 13, 2022, runoff election for City Council Members in Districts 1, 2 and 3.

The winners of the runoff races included:

-District 1 – Everett Roy

-District 2 – Sylvia Campos

-District 3 – Roland Barrera

The newly elected City Council Members will be sworn in at a special City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in City Hall Council Chambers, 1201 Leopard Street beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Outgoing City Council Members Billy Lerma, Greg Smith, John Martinez, and Ben Molina will be recognized for their service to the city on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in City Hall Council Chambers beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Canvassing is a procedure by which the governing body accepts the election results and makes them official.
