Training Improves Health Outcomes Throughout the Community

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District and the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program services will be closed on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. for staff training and professional development.
The training will focus on improving the customer service experience, public health pathogen recertification, and implementing new programs essential to improving community health outcomes.
“To provide better services for our community, we need a well-trained Public Health District staff,” said Dr. Fauzia Khan, Director of the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District. “The training opportunity allows us to keep our promise of creating a better working environment and providing better health outcomes for the community. This training will help develop the staff’s skills, increase their knowledge, and provide tools for better customer service.”
