From: City Of Corpus ChristiCORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Dust off your dancing boots and cowboy hats for an evening full of Country Christmas Celebrations at La Retama Central Library, 805 Comanche Street, on Friday, December 16, beginning at 7:00 p.m. All activities are free and will include the following:
-Two-Step Dance Lessons
-Polka Dance Lessons
-Christmas Crafts
-Holiday Games
-Ugliest Sweater Contest
-Dancing Contest
-“Yee Haw” Hollerin’ Contest
-Toy Drive for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) - new, unwrapped toys will be collected during the Country Christmas event only
-Critter Comfort Drive for Animal Care Services (drop off new, unopened cans of cat food, dog food, blankets, towels, and chew toys) *Collection ends January 31
Door prizes are available for the first hour while supplies last. Local vendors will be available to help with last-minute holiday gifts. Children 15 and under must be accompanied and monitored by an adult.
