Christmas closures, freezing weather prep, Bowl for the Brave

- Christmas closures: Most city offices will be closed on Mon., Dec. 26. Check what facilities will be closed over the weekend. Emergency services will run as usual.

- People, pets, plants, and pipes: Subfreezing temperatures will hit Fort Worth this week. Make sure to prepare your home, know what to do if you lose water from a frozen pipe or water main break, and sign up for emergency alerts.

- Bowl for the Brave: The 20th anniversary of the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl will be played at Amon G. Carter Stadium on Thurs., Dec. 22.
