From: City Of MelroseTo ensure the Melrose community has access to the public health information they need to make informed decisions that promote the personal and environmental health of the community, the City of Melrose Health and Human Services (HHS) Department has launched a quarterly e-newsletter to share updates and public health news with the community throughout the year.
The e-newsletter will be emailed to subscribers four times a year and will contain information on public health news and department updates such as vaccine clinic information, community events, resources and giveaways.
The Health Department, now the Health and Human Services Department as of March 2022, is continuously evolving and has recently shifted to expand its services in both physical and mental health, where there is a focus on prevention, remediation, and maintenance.
“The Department’s mission has always been to promote the personal and environmental health of the community through education and policy development supported by enforceable regulations, and collaboration with other people and organizations,” said Anthony Chui, Director of both the Melrose and Wakefield HHS Departments. “This newsletter is one of our strategic efforts to make sure Melrose residents receive the news they need to make informed decisions that promote their physical and mental health, as well as the health of their family.”
