Looking for things to do while out of school? The public is invited to get active and get involved with Parks & Recreation this Spring Break. Don’t miss out on any of the following:

-The North Port Aquatic Center will follow an amended schedule from March 11 –19. The entire facility will be open every day from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Stop by to try the drop slide or the Dolphin Dive. Prefer chilling on an inner tube? The Relaxahatchee Lazy River is calling your name.

-Compete and win at Binglo! This fun game night offers hilarious and competitive fun for family and friends. Wear your best neon and join us March 17 at the George Mullen Activity Center. Fee is $10 for a 10-card pack.

-Stop by one of our local parks to play, picnic or hike! For a complete and searchable list of options, visit NorthPortFL.gov/MyLocalParks.

-Try a new class (no experience necessary, beginners are welcome!) Check out Zumba or Youth Boxing. Prefer to exercise in the water? Try Water Aerobics 2.0 or learn more about our Learn to Swim and Float 4 Life programs at the North Port Aquatic Center.

-Find something special at the Community Yard Sale on March 18 from 8 a.m. – noon at the City Center Front Green. In addition to household items, shoppers will also have the chance to support local business at the Crafter’s Corner. The Crafter’s Corner features handmade items from creative local vendors, allowing attendees to find one-of-a-kind items. Admission and parking are free.
