North Port Parks & Recreation announces dates for upcoming Movie on the Green event series

Grab your blanket and lawn chairs and join us for a free movie and some fresh air at our family-friendly Movie on the Green series! Each movie is held outdoors at the City Center Front Green (4970 City Hall Blvd.) with seating for each opening one hour before sunset. Attendees can participate in a complimentary kid’s craft and concessions will be available for purchase.

The series will kick off on Jan. 27 at 6:30 p.m. with "Minions: The Rise of Gru”. On Feb. 17 at 6:45 p.m. The toe-tapping "Sing 2" will be playing. The final date in the series is March 24 at 7:45 p.m. and the movie will be chosen by the public. Follow @NorthPortParksAndRec on Facebook to vote for your favorite! Each movie showing lasts approximately two hours.

Vendors

Are you interested in becoming a vendor at the Movie on the Green? Vendor applications are available for pick up at the Morgan Family Community Center, 6207 West Price Blvd. or can be downloaded at NorthPortFL.gov/MovieOnTheGreen. Applications will be considered on a first come, first serve basis based on event needs and space availability. The City does not provide exclusivity for vendors on items and reserves the right to turn away vendors deemed inappropriate for this family event.
