Parks & Recreation requests feedback from residents of North Port

You can help guide the future of North Port Parks & Recreation by participating in a short survey to let staff know your thoughts on our facilities, programs, events and fees. This information will help the Parks & Recreation Department gauge the needs of North Port residents for parks and recreational opportunities within the City.

Take the Community Interest and Needs Assessment Survey

“We send out a community survey annually to help guide decisions and discussions on what is needed in our park system,” said Ryan Murphy, Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation. “We hope that the public will take a few minutes to give us their valuable feedback, which will be reviewed by staff and the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board.”

Results from past surveys supports new amenities and program offerings, including projects such as the Myakkahatchee Creek Greenway Trail, Disc Golf, and the expansion of activities such as guided nature walks.
