Public Parking Administrator Judi Rizzuto is retiring in December after nearly 24 years with the Public Parking Commission.  With her retirement, the City is making some changes to the administration of public parking.  The Tax Office of the Finance Department will be assuming the duties of collecting parking tickets and monthly parking.  As part of this transition, the parking ticket collection system will be moved over to the same software platform that the Tax Office uses for collecting property taxes.  There will be a period when individuals will not be able to pay tickets online.  The new software system should be up and running by Tuesday, January 3, 2023.  The City will waive any increases in parking ticket fines between December 14, 2022 and when the new software system comes online.

The Public Parking Commission will no longer have an office in the Norwich Intermodal Transportation Center.  For those individuals who are looking to pay their parking tickets by mail or in-person, they may be mailed or presented to the Tax Office located at Room 105 of City Hall, 100 Broadway, Norwich, CT  06360.
