Human Trafficking Awareness Month - Victim Indicators

Human Trafficking Awareness day was last week, but did you know that the month of January is dedicated to raising awareness about human trafficking? 

During the next few weeks, we will be sharing information on how to identify and prevent this crime. Here are the common indicators of a victim of human trafficking, which include:

- Decline in mental health or abnormal behavior

- Lack of control

- Poor physical health

- Poor work and living conditions

If you or someone you know might be a victim of human trafficking, you are urged to call 911 or the local authorities. You can also call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text 233733.
