Mayor Joven Makes the December Rising LoneStars List

Mayor Joven was selected as a Rising LoneStar for the month of December!

Odessa Mayor Javier Joven’s commitment to “return to basics” earned him a spot as a December 2022 Rising LoneStar. An organization that recognizes exceptional acts of leadership and provides information about local elected officials.

Mayor Joven pledged to focus in the new year on water infrastructure, roads, trash collection, and first responders’ pay to make a safer and cleaner city.

Mayor Joven has been chosen as a Rising LoneStar twice previously, making this his third time to be chosen. Mayor Joven is honored by this recognition.
