On Monday, February 6th, 2023, at sunrise, the Odessa Police Department will hold a wreath-laying ceremony to pay tribute to Officer Scott Smith, who died in a motorcycle crash while responding to a burglary in progress call. 

The public is invited to attend the wreath-laying ceremony. 

The wreath will be on display from sunrise to sunset and anyone wishing to show their respects is encouraged to visit our memorial during this time.
