Hispanic Heritage Month
Meet Yadhira Lerma, an administrative assistant for our Field Operations Bureau. She has been working at OPD for almost 19 years. She is fluent in Spanish and is always there to help translate!

Yadhira recognizes the strength that Hispanics have when moving to a new country. Many struggle to learn a second language and adapt to a new way of living, yet with hard work and determination, have lived very successful lives.

She believes that it is important to learn about your heritage and cultural traditions, and most importantly to be proud of who you are!

Her favorite food is tacos, and she enjoys cooking traditional Mexican foods and desserts! We at OPD really appreciate it when she makes breakfast!
