Traffic Alert Reminder

 Highway 111 & Library Way

Just a reminder that the utility undergrounding project on Highway 111 at Library Way in Rancho Mirage is ongoing. Lane closures will alternate between westbound and eastbound as the project progresses.

The timing of this work is unavoidable and peak season traffic volumes will cause delays. The City will be monitoring traffic flow during peak periods and modifying traffic signal timing to ease traffic flow. The City will post regular updates to inform the community on the status of the lane closures. The City asks for your patience during this time and encourages the use of the alternate route shown below during peak traffic periods.

For more information, please contact Public Works Department at

(760) 770-3224.
