Please take notice that Rancho Mirage City Hall will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2023 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Each year on the third Monday of January, America honors the birth, life, and dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

As this is a Federal holiday, not only will schools and libraries be closed, most federal and state offices will be closed and there will be no mail deliveries on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Sports Legends Gretzky, Smith, & Leonard

This year’s Rancho Mirage speaker series features an all-star lineup showcasing sports legends at The Show, at the Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa in the city of Rancho Mirage.

Series ticket purchasers receive significant discounts on their ticket purchase and the first 1,000 will be granted free admission to the Acrisure Arena to watch the CV Firebirds’ home game against the San Diego Gulls on Sunday, January 22, 2023.

Rancho Mirage residents can purchase general admission tickets for a 15% discount in-person at the Rancho Mirage Library & Observatory.

Proof of residency is required. 

Resident discount tickets on sale until February 1, 2023 for South Pacific, March 1, 2023 for Beauty & The Beast, and April 1, 2023 for Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Free Yoga Offered at the
Rancho Mirage Certified Farmers Market

What can you get at the Rancho Mirage Certified Farmers Market besides fresh produce, farm-raised meats, line caught salmon, freshly made bakery products, handmade clothing, jewelry, soaps, and candles? How about a free yoga class in a gorgeous outdoor space?

Each Friday, Rancho Mirage Community Park is home to the Rancho Mirage Certified Farmers Market from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with free yoga beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Join the Department of Waste Resources for a refreshing revised online program – Zero Waste Hero. This virtual experience will challenge residents to become more active in reducing waste, recycling more, and becoming a less wasteful consumer. Residents will have the opportunity to complete challenges on Instagram and Facebook. As participants complete the challenges, they earn an entry into a drawing for eco-friendly prizes.
